Hey all. First time poster on the formum. I am looking to buy a Majek 20V or extreme this weekend and was wanting to know what the right price to pay for either of these boats would be. With a 150 DI yamaha on the 20V their quoteing me 25-26K.

If any owners could help Id appreciate it.

The 22 Xtreme goes for mid 30's new. Not sure about the 20V. I want to say they wanted mid to upper 20's for the 20V at the Houston Boat Show.

I have been in the 22 Xtreme and it handles rough water very very well. It is also a fast hull (60-70 MPH speeds possible depending on the engine). However, I was told though, that the 20V and 22 Xtreme do not share the same hull design and the 20V is not in the same league as the 22 Xtreme. In other words, the 20V is not just a shorter version of the 22 Xtreme.

I've never been in a 20V but would love to hear some comments about its performance. Maybe Majek has made some improvements to this hull recently. I do know the Majeks are always tweeking for the better.

Great boat builder anyways. Majeks hold their value extremely well.

IMO, The extreme HP's are the most beautiful bay boats there is.

I agree with SightCast, the extremes are the best looking boat on the water, next to my boat of course lol.

I am now also looking at Mosca, a new boat builder hear in Corpus. These are very nice, I've got a test ride on Tue.

doesnt the 20v have a tunnel in it ? I also have the extreme and wouldnt trade it for the world

The 20V does indeed have a tunnel in it. Nice riding boat, but nothing compared to the Extreme. Majek makes 2 different models in the extreme.

The one thing I can say for a fact is the extreme is fast, scary fast. It will definitely be my next boat, at least if i ever get rid of the Redfish Line.

Saw the Mosca's at the Corpus boat show, and they looked nice as well. It is just hard to beat the Majek's. Great guys, great company, and undoubtably a great product.

If i were to have to pick between the 20V and the Extreme, it would be a no brainer. EXTREME

Those are two very different boats. The 20v is a much shallower boat, while the extreme is crazy fast. Talk to Capt. Lowtide on this forum, he works for a dealer who sells Majeks.

thanks guys. Looks like Im gonna have to wait till the weekend for the test ride on Mosca. Hopefully there will be some chop.
