It looks fine if all you want to do is bash around the cul-de-sac on a budget and dont plan on racing. A step up from there and a car worthy of racing is the Duratrax Vendetta.

Not to try to persuade you in any way, but the 1/18's are just as fast as 1/10 if not faster. Just sayin...

speed isnt my concern as much as tire size and the ability to handle a large rutted track. I didnt think a 18th scale would handle that well unless the track was perfectly manicured. I usually drive a 1/8 scale kyosho truggy. and my buddies have a mugen truggy and a revo. we drive at my friends track. it has a few jumps, a large table top, and a big double. my wife wants to drive with us. but I dont have a bunch of cash to drop on a rc for her. I dont want to get her a nitro and have tuning headaches. 4wd is, i think, easier to drive, no fish tails. so would the 18th scale be able to clear large jumps and be easy to drive? thats why I was looking for a cheap 10th scale 4wd electric. any ideas?

Well you may have a point then. The larger the ruts the harder it is on a smaller car of course. Check Youtube for videos on 18's running on tracks. They do very well and can handle some insane jumps, but a 1/10 scale will be able to handle larger rocks and such then an 1/18 obviously. Thinking back over the years at the tracks that I've raced at, my Vendetta would have hung with any of the 1/10 scalers that I've raced though.
