View Full Version : Sunday ride anyone?
Not too early, because it's gonna be cold, and the direction doesn't matter. I am considering a ride to Galveston, the question is which way to turn when I get there. Double Bayou might be a possibility, or Surfside is another...

But I did....Met up with a new riding group at Dixie's diner on 45.Left out at noon and got home 6pm.Road up to Brazoria with about 30 other bikes and then a handful of us road on to Angleton then I came home.I didn't get cold until halfway home.Got home and took a hot shower and warmed right back up again.
Now the day before just I and a friend road up 146 and kept going until we got to the other side of Dayton.Kinda took a wrong turn and ended up on 90 and the next thing we know we're heading over the ship channel bridge! The sun was going down and my toes were cold.Got home 7pm and once again jumped in a hot shower and was good to go!!!
It's hard to find a Texan who will ride in the cold.I can remember my days in N.Y. snowmobiling down the froozen Hudson River for hours in below freezing weather and just having a blast! Of course riding this week-end is the closest I will ever come to that in Texas!!
