Well, I decided to go back to chevy. I traded my F350 06' PS in on for a Chevy 3500 6.6 Duramax dually. So far I am happy with my decision. I have a Tough Contry front end replacement and Putman goosneck hitch off of the PS on the 2cool classifieds. http://www.2coolfishing.org/classifieds/mojoClassified/id/6743/

I traded to Chevy Duramax also and am very pleased with it. Left Ford and will never go back.

What were the main factors that made you all look away from Ford?
Personally I'm a Chevy person, but have brought Fords for business, but hated the front-end wear. That was my only dislike and that includes 2 with the 1997 PS motors.

The DM definitly has more power than the 6.0L PS, espicialy in the bottom end. This is definity a fact, as I have pulled our boat that weighs around 17,000# loaded with 2 different 6.0L PS and with my 02 DM and my new one (No comparison, the DM shines). I really did not want to be a quiney pig with the new 6.4L PS. All of the independent comparasons still show both the Dodge cummins and the DM head and shoulders over the 6.4L PS. As far as milage goes, all there are similar enough to be a non factor. With this said about the mileage, I definity believe the new emisions the manuf. have to meet have negativly impacted the fuel economy as both the 6.4L Fords and the DM that I test drove seem to be getting a solid 1 to 1.5 miles less per gallon.
