Had Oscar (bass33) and Jessie out today for a catfishing trip. Kind of funny, because Oscar emailed me and said he was ready to go catch some bass, and I responded telling him he might have the wrong person to take him fishing. He responded back that him and Jessie were ready to go catch some catfish. It was a fun day on the water.
Beautiful day on the water, nice temperatures, nice breeze (even though it was from East), nice sunrise. Fish were a little stubborn, but we found a few pockets of them. Oscar and Jessie managed to take home 32 nice catfish up to 3.5#. I am still waiting on them to tell me how they liked the recipe I told them about. Could have had more catfish, Jessie slept late and Oscar pulled out plastic lizards to cast for a while.
