Mrs. McBuck and I ventured out between rain showers to check out the evening fishing at Lake Braunig. We successfully dodged the showers and fished from 6:30 to 9:45 PM. We ended up with 25 nice kitties. The evening weather turned out great, and we had an awesome time. All were caught on punch bait fished in shallow water.
Many thanks to Cliff Hill (Hill Country Fishin) for turning me on to this "close to home" lake and his helpful advice! I can't wait to go back.
I was so busy taking care of The Queen and trying to get some fishing in myself that I didn't have time to take any pics. I'll try to get some next time.
