While dismantling my trailer axles I noticed that my 2 year old brakes were completely shot(I religiously rinse them out immediately after every trip). I've decided to finnaly listen to the old adage that "brakes and saltwater don't mix" and leave them out this time. Since my boat is a 201 Mako, I don't think the thought is that crazy. However, I am looking for a way to beef up my stock brakes. Any ideas??

Look for a kit on summit or jegs that has dual or quad pistons and bigger disks that are drilled or slotted to help with any overheating you may have while going down hills. I am assuming that you are talking about your trucks brakes here on the upgrade part. I did it on my 93 z71 after I lifted it and put 35's on it and it helped alot.
