Lookin for a new boat

Was at the Houston Boat Show this past weekend and took a hard look at the Gulf Coast 23' and the Shallow Sport 21.5' anyone have any opinions on these?

I like both boats. I would love to have one of the Gulfcoast Vari-sides. I've never been in one, but I've heard it has a great ride in rough water.

I have fished out of a Gulfcoast vari-sides. We wade fished POC with it, and I loved the low cut sides on the back. Made it very easy to get in and out of the boat. If your not going to be getting in and out of the boat alot, I don't guess it would really be good for anything else though. Ran across Matagorda in pretty rough chop one day, and handled surprisingly well. Never rode in a shallow sport so couldn't compare the two.
