94" 4Runner "Know of any Problem's ? "

Just bought a 94 4Runner, any known problem's with these SUV's ? It also is automatic , with 4wd (ifs) , 146000 miles.

If it has the 3.0 v-6, they are prone to head gasket failure. I had a 93' pu and blew the gasket at 76k. If you have the 22re, you should be fine.

I have a '91 with 240,000 miles (3.0 V-6). Yes, you will lose a head gasket sooner or later, mine went at 85K. Other than A/C compressor and a valve job at 170K, no major problems. Still gets me to the saltwater...
