I have this Willys that I am not sure what to do with it. I have considered saling or trading (not out of the question still). I have also considered going stock, but I like to drive over 45 mph. I have thought about scabbing it onto a yota or some other donor vehicle. Any ideas?

i had a 48 cj2a just like that one...........please keep it like it is

i would have it bead blasted and then bedlinered inside and out

swap over to 8X15" wheels and some mudder style tires no bigger than 10X15"

finally change it over to 12v system and rewire everything

you dont want to go over 55mph in that even if you can, the steering can't take it.

new front channel bumper with tow bar

jc whitney still sells alot for that one

Totally agree, beautiful start to a neat jeep. Keep her stock. Fiberglass bodies are made for swapping to yotas and stuff anyways, dont waste a good metal body on that. Just my .02 cents.

PM me before you do anything to it... unless you intend to restore. You have some valuable parts there. The hood and tailgate(with the Willys emblem) and windshield frame alone are worth more than you might imagine.
