Had Kristie and her son Cody, Tomball, out to do a little fishing before Cody starts school next week. Cody said he wanted to learn all he could about fishing and would like to be a guide so he was paying close attention.
We missed most of the rain, got a little wet at the end, but no lightening.
They were happy to take 70 fillets home from the nice 35 fish we boated, several in the 3# size. Kristie said frying was her favorite, isn't it everyones.
Fish were mostly in 16-20 foot water bite was extremely light, meaning we missed twice as many fish as we caught, and most of those with one hook in the edge of the mouth. Just think a little over one month till Fall, and cooler weather.
