Put out lines Saturday evening in the Colorado River. We put out about 30 lines baited with perch, and mudcats. We ended up with 12 fish total, 7 yellow cats, biggest was 16 pounds and 5 blues. The yellows we caught were all solid, the seven we keep were from 8-16 pounds. We did have 3 more that we threw back, they were 18 inches but skinny. The blues were just average good eating fish. It was the first time we had gotten on the river since all the rain, man it has changed, but seemed for the good. There is a lot more drifts, and some new holes.
My uncle fished also they caught 5 yellows and 5 blues, they had one blue that went 32 pounds. They took photo's and released him or her. Caught the big blue on cut buffalo.
