I am replacing my dash and want to hear the pros and cons of a fusebox inside the cabin or individual fuses next to each toggle switch. Originally there is an inside box, but that is numerous extra wires running to the dash that can be eliminated by going with the in dash fuses. I would like to hear what everyone else prefers and why. This is a picture of what I am dealing with, it is actually cleaned up compared to what it looked like when I first got it!

Fuse pannel or better yet breakers. Mount inside a cheap tupperware container to lessen the rust and green.

Fuse box.

you only have to run the wire to the switch wthout having to secure fuses that bounce around and it is much neater. Only run 12v to your box and then necessary wires to what ever switches you may need from the box.

Mount a fuse panel beneath your dash where if water leaks from anything up top it will not run down onto the panel. When connecting the wires to the block be sure to leave drip loops. Spray some corrosion block or corrosion X on the panel. Besides the panel write down which fuse is for what for when out on the water. Try and get it in an easy area to get to. I hope this helps.
