4 Way Plug

Hey,
Thought I would check out my lights on my Camper Trailer.
I've got the round 4way plug system.
So in checking.
I found out that the plug that I just had put on last year
had rust all over the screws that hold the wires.
Sure looked like the plug had been on for years.
Corrosion on the wires not a good thing.
Thinking about putting the plug in some sort of water proof box,
when I'm not pulling the trailer.
Is there some sort of spray that wiil keep the Corrosion off,
once you push the plastic, back into the holder?

That corrosion X works pretty good. I know dont use WD-40. It will actually attrach moisture. Mine has a little flap that goes over the plug, and that has helped a bunch.

Mine is all messed up and I need to replace it for the above stated reasons. Should I buy the factory part and replace it or is there a better system, I only pull boats and only need a 5 flat hookup, no campers in my future.

upgrade it to fit you round plug and silicone everything up, that should help
