are you freediving or on scuba?

IIRC, the those fins are incredibly long - and not particularly suited for scuba.

i do both, have been scuba cert. since 1972 . been all over the us ,bahamas, carribean. sou.america, etc........have a big enough boat to handle a few folks.

i do freedive some , but especially want the long deep apnea type fins for the really deep stuff.

it is incredibly hard on you to try it with scuba fins, actually not worth it , unless you are just sitting there waiting for a shot to happen by.
i about killed myself last time in the bahamas freediving for hogfish and grouper.......man, what calf cramps

what type of scuba fins are you using?

I've had the Mares Avanti Quattros for some time and they perform very well.

I have one pair of freediving fins - the Omer Ice fins - I wasn't very impressed with them when I tried them with scuba, they are great for free diving. My scuba fins don't work very well for free diving, either.

i have tha avanti quattros also, too wide and bulky for a hard push when freediving, that's why i'm looking for someone that has used the cressi rondine 2000s, i have a high instep and am afraid they will put my feet to sleep if too tight.

i looked at the omer's too they have a newer freedive fin, that would be an option, look at the fins on the site i suggested, there are alot of freedive fins in their list.
