I have a shimano tekota 700. I've noticed when I troll at about 8 mph, the drag is slowly clicking and letting out line. it appears that the drag doesn't have the #age to maintain the lure.

What is it I have to replace so I don't get cornholed at my local reel shop?

Send the reel to us and we will service the drag system or replace any parts needed at no charge.

That post by Bantam1, and the general quality and reliability across the board, is why I only fish Shimano reels. :)

Bantam 1,

My tekota 600 has broken parts on the release lever. I need the following parts: click pin (295), click spring (296), eccentric cam bushing (366), clutch spring (367), clutch cam (368) Can I buy these parts? Where?

That is why I have 2 curados, 2 calcuttas, 2 shimano open faces, on my catfish boat as well. Guess I have to purchase some more.
