The Houston boat show is coming Jan 7-16 to Reliant Center.

I guess I'll go and walk around a dream a bit.........

Anyone else planning on going, or who is really serious about buying a new boat this year?

but no boat buying anticipated. Already got one! Can't afford another.

Probably try to go during the week when there's less crowds. I like to browse the booths and see what I can find.

I hear you. We've already got a boat, and will probably have the same one for a long time. But it's nice to go see what's out there, and appreciate that the one you have is less expensive than the one you don't have!

I am going either the 7th or the 8th and will be looking very hard at some items as I will get to buy a new one in March. It is about 2.5 hours from the house, as long as the traffic is not terrible.

Planning on going to the show Sat. the 8th. We are shopping for a new boat. I'm sure there will be plenty of eye candy to be had.

Forgot who the manufacturer was, but it was definately a sweet boat that I had not seen before. If you walked in and took an immediate left, it was back there (t-top, v-hull, 26' I believe).

Me and a buddie were looking at the 35' Donzi w/ tripple 225's and I told him this thing was definately a chick magnet, and I needed to buy one. Just about that time a hot looking blonde came walking up behind us. I said "see, its already working" LOL

Has anyone seen a boat manufactured under the name Blackjack at the show? I understand this is the new boat that the Kenner brothers are building. They had sold their Kenner line to Tracker, so they've started this new line. I've only seen a picture of one, and was hoping to get some peoples thoughts one them. Those Kenner boys did a great job with their original line of boats.
