Best bet is to search and find. I will be looking for one sometime in the near future, cause it is even worse fishing two poles, L R

I grew up casting with my right hand ( cause Im right handed ) and reeling in with my left. So I have what peeps call a left handed reel. lol.. I do not see the purpose in casting with one hand and changing hands to reel.

2 each his own or they just grew up tha way....

Capt. Dave, since I posted this I found them at the "Sportsman's Edge" in LaGrange for $229 plus shipping, I've ordered plastic baits, and lures from them before and they are top notch to order from, very fast delivery. Not sure how they would handle warranty issues, that a good question to ask....I can reel with either hand, but my left shoulder screams after a long day of fishing with a right handed reel. And I have a Shimano Stradic 2500 set up left handed that works great for me, but I want a left handed MG so I'll have a lefthanded baitcaster.

Any dealer that stocks the 50MG can order the 51MG for you.

you can replace the spool with one from a curado to increase line capacity......

Being a lefty too I feel your frustration - can't just go anywhere & have it in hand that day like rightys. You have to go through the wait of special ordering or drive a long distance to someone who sells them.

I felt a little discriminated against from some of the local tackle places - some just looked at me crazy when I asked if they carried MG51's.....& tried to correct me - by saying you mean a MG50.....you know since I'm a woman I don't know what the heck I'm talking about.....LOL


I also got mine off Ebay & loving it......Also Cabela's & Bass Pro shop caters to us LEFTYs!!
