Where does this reel fit in the scheme?

I have 2 of them, and really like them. But, I never seem to hear about them when reels are discussed. Have they just not caught on, or should I be concerned about the long haul for some reason?

Just curious.

Thanks.

They were primarily designed for pitching and flipping for largemouth bass. The reel is technique specific and that is possibly why you do not hear much about it.

I love the flipping bar when I'm working around pilings, jetty pockets, and mangroves. It gives me a little more precision than any of your other fantastic reels.

I had a Castaic SF and a traditional Castaic that I caught tons of snook and mangrove snapper with. Great reels.
