Are the Scorpians ever going to make it to the US Market ? I know what ebay can deliver, but the warranty is not favorable ?

They made it to the U.S. market a long time ago. They are called the Curado 200B.

Are you talking about scorpion MG's or curado type scorpions

The Scorpion reels will never come to the US market through us. The Japanese model reels are not designed for our market. We use stronger internal components due to the demands of the US angler. We have larger fish, use heavier lines and typically fish harder than the average Japanese angler.

The Japanese model products are not supported by us or covered under our warranty. Some parts interchange while others we do not stock. Parts orders can take 2-6 months from Japan.

I advise everyone to stay with the Shimano US products for the sake of product support and parts availability.

i was looking for the MG model. think i will stick with the us model mg51. if the scorpians were 150 dollars' maybe i would get one.
