Late PINS report

Hank, Mike(love2fish), Patrick and myself fished PINS on 6-3 and 6-4 (Thur and Fri) at about the 20 MM. Bait was hard to come by and the water was not real dirty but it was not clear. Late afternoon I caught a pup shark 18" on a casted bait on whiting. At about 9:00 PM the line on Hanks 12/0 starts moving north without a click and ends up being a 4' 1" BlackTip. That was it for the night. The next morning Mike caught a 22" trout with a 5" piece of mulet tail. Had no action the rest of the day and new weed started to roll in and we called it a trip.

Thats funny, we had no trouble catching bait last weekend. Actually better than I have seen it since April. We had alot of whiting and the harheads wouldn't stop. All on lfresh dead shrimp. Fishbites was turning bites but very slowly. Even saw some others catch some reds in the wade gut.

We had a total of 6 hits, two connections and one shark 5' 2" BT. Frenzy lost his when the shark turned and ran towards him and it bit the mainline. Good shark probably 5 to 6 feet as well.
