ok somebody tell me what kind of birds these are, there not in my gulf coast bird book and i kinda like the man & wife out to lunch thing in my yard .

They appear to be Yellow Crowned Night Herons. The more colorful is an adult and the other is a juvinile.

Yep, thats an affirmative on the ID! Yellow crowned are more crab eaters as opposed to fish...no wonder they are after your crawfish :)
