Greetings from Rockport,Tx.!
Just wanted to post some information here for my current,recent and former customers in the San Antonio area.
My name is Larry Rabe. I used to live in Adkins, Tx. before moving down here to Rockport. I had a Rod and Reel shop on 1604 southeast of San Antonio, near Calaveras Lake.
Due to some unforseen events in my marriage and my employment with City Public Service, I decided to move to the coast. I regret that I have lost some of my dear customers due to the move.
Some have heard of my move, some have not.
So, if you were one of my customers from San Antonio or elsewhere, I apoligize for the sudden move and wish to continue to provide your service VIA the U.S. mail or in person.
The change was for the best, not only for me but for the business.
I had operated out of that location for 5 years and hated to move, but divorce caused me to sell the property. I hope you all understand.

For those of you who have not yet met me, I have been working on reels for about 35 years. Rodbuilding for about 16 years and still learning.
I stock parts for ABU, PENN, SHIMANO AND DAIWA. I no longer service any type of ZEBCO reel, including Quantum.
I build custom rods to your specifications, any type or style. 50% deposit up front on all custom rods.
I also repair waders and tackle boxes.
I am also a SHIMANO TOP SHELF DEALER.
I carry a nice selection of mirrorlures at the cheap price of $ 3.75 + tax.
That's dirt cheap!!!!!
