Fayette is just to hot now...the discharge temp was near 97 degrees last time I was there. Its not the best late spring , summer time lake...

The fish keep biting in the warm water, in fact feed more. Metabolism increases with the temperature. They may move some, but for the next two months fishing will be fantastic.

Took my Dad for his bday last Thurs. and caught bass on Watermelon Carolina rig lizards in 3 to 5 feet also on White Senkos in same depth. Caught best fish on Blue/Chartreuse Crankbaits along rip rap. Water temp was around 72 degrees in the coves. Good luck! Also the lake is very full with alot of new growth along the banks. Caught a couple pitching jigs and Ribbits.
