I have an older 18 Shallow Sport with a 120 Evinrude on the back. I'm turning an old 13 by 15 prop that performs well but it is worn out. It jumps out of the hole great but turns to many rpm's on top end. Does anyone have any suggestions on a new prop? I tried out two different props yesterday and both performed well on top end at around 5200 rpm's and 38-39 mph but I didn't get the holeshot I was expecting. Any comments would be appreciated.

Maybe you misunderstood my question. I need to know if anyone has experience with a setup like this to help me with the purchase of a new prop. My motor runs fine and blew both those props out. That's why I didn't get the holeshot I was expecting. I've been dreading the day when I was going to go prop shopping because it can be a very time consuming experience with all the options out there now. I just need to know if anyone one else runs something that may work for me. Thanks.

i run a 140 on my ss sport 18, 13x13-4 blade, i have one heck of a holeshot, 37-39mph , @5800, i need to add more pitch, i can't recall mine "blowingout" , as far as blowout on yours, have a propshop add more cup so it bites , i'm sure louieb will chime in, one of the best in the buisness.
