Nueces River Help

have not been very succesfull fishing nueces lately. Any pointers? Around Corpus.

Catfish bite is on at lake Corpus...3-5' of water. Cut shad if you can find em....
Bait a place with sour grain (Milo, scratch, beer)...should work for the river too....

Waiting on the mayflies and shad run....then its a mad house.

thanks, went yesterday and caught about 20. Mostly little, but still fun. Also, one big gaspergoo (sp?)
