Got on the water about 7:30 Friday morning fishing around Cape Royale. We stayed just inside the cove, protected by the stiff wind and rough water. Fished right up next to the bulkhead and caught about 25 catfish and a few gaspergou. Catfish were't very big, all being the 15-20" range. The goo were big though and put up a good fight.

Woke up Saturday morning to an even stiffer north wind, sleet and snow and went back to bed. Them little catfish we caught the day before just wasn't worth it. The snow flakes didn't last long but continued to sleet on and off for most of the day.

Used shad for bait caught up close to the bulkheads. Most were about 2-3" long. The bigger shad were down deeper in 6-7' of water.

Cooked the catfish Friday night using the catfish supreme recipe someone posted on this website. There is not a better way to cook fish. It was great. Thanks to whomever posted the recipe. My family is hooked.

You caught the fish inside the Marina. That's impressive. We went and fished the dam on Friday and caught 90 Catfish. 10 of them were over 24". We have a house in Cape Royale so we are always fishing around there. Do you have a copy of that recipe?
