I have raced for several years, nothing better than motocross. After several injuries I decided to give it up and try offshore fishing.
lol..not much racing here.....but I really like to ride...I've got too many hobbies...

I did long time ago, Rio Bravo and some other local tracks, even got to ride in the Astrodome once for winning 8 races in one year... Got a few trophies in my Grandmaws attic.... Did some flat tracking when the track was open in north Baytown on a Bultaco 360... Had lots of fun, and both wrist and an elbow broke, several joints dislocated.... Now I ride a cruiser and still love every minute on two wheels... Cause I don't heal near as fast at 44 yrs old....LOL

I'm another old timer. In my day I could be found at North Houston Fairbanks, Rio Bravo, Cycle Sports Park, Clover field, and my favorite, The Texas Bike Breaker at Lockhart, Texas.
That's me on the right, all decked out in yellow plastics, circa '75

I got in on the 80's three wheeler craze.
First trike was a 84' Honda ATC200x (first two shots). Notice the full protective gear..lol (heck, the knee high tube socks would protect me!)
Needed more speed and wheel travel so the next one was a 85' Honda ATC250r. It was a liquid cooled two stroke and would approach 80 mph in 6th gear.
These days it's a 04' Honda VTX1300c

P.S. All shots were scanned..."redneck style!"..lol
Racing is in my blood. I raced in the 60-70s in Southern Calif. Grew up racing with a kid named Jeff Ward. He was a little better than me. :)
From 3HP mini bikes up to 125s. Ran MX, flattrack, TT and Scrambles. Now I race offroad modified RC cars. It doesnt hurt as much when I crash. :)
yea, i usually just practice, but will race. got a 90 cr250 and the step son has a 92 cr125. we are mid to (mainly) back of the pack riders but its fun. skeeter, highlands, and splendora are the main places around houston we ride. gonna hit the forrest again this year, thats a blast.
