The wind was so bad today at Wolf Creek Park my 19' deep V RedFin beat me up just when we found some bluecats in 12' of water out from the bulkhead a good half of a mile. We had a late start and passed up below dam as we crossed on the birdge, it looked Easter Crowded with a ton of boats over on the West bank. I bet they caught white bass like crazy. At the park it took a while to find shad and they were tight on a bulkhead across the creek. After working hard for 2 dozen we set out to find some blues. Tried up close in 4' to 5' and nothing. So we headed out to the 10' contour line and found a big bunch in 12' around a small rise on the bottom.
Just as I began to get bites the wind rose it's ugly head and pounded the poo out of us. After 3 small blues it was too bad for me, so we went in. Hope others did better than we did today. We will go again tomorrow, maybe below the dam, If anybody was there today, tell the truth, how was it?
