Catfishing was pretty good today below the dam, whites and a few stripers showed up as well. Cut gizzard shad was the best catfish bait, thrown up towards the gates and bounched along the bottom. Once I found the trick it only took about 20 casts to catch my 10. Some were 24" some were 19"

SHA, I went today to buy some Crown Royal and Modeleo's dark at the Dam Liquer Store and driving across the dam I saw that there was only two gates open and the water was dropping, sorry to say the cat bite is not going to be as good as it was Saturday. I will try to put together some catfish flags and try the lake, when it's happening there I'll give a call to you and come take the wife and Haley. We will have a blast catching bluecatfish, and while we watch the flags we will troll or live bait for stripers. Either way we will catch fish and have a great time. call you soon.
