Well, we decided to make a quick run to the flats thursday afternoon to find out just how shallow those darn whisker fish had decided to go. And just like clock work they are right on time. We caught a few slimers in around two hours and back to the house we went to do a little cleaning. Fished a chummed hole on Lake Houston and never moved till we got tired and headed in. We threw back quite a few 13 and 14 inch fish. 14 and up were the keepers that day. several nice size cats but no monsters. Just good eating size! http://www.2coolfishing.com/ttmbforum/images/icons/dance.gif

Very nice, great action for a two hour hole! What bait? And were those catfish of the jumping variety? :D We had a few of those...

LOL, yep! they seemed more like the dancing type to me though. When you set the hook they were so shallow they had no where to go but up. And dance they did. Chicken Liver was bait of choice this trip. And we have a new secret to our chum. Cord has a buddy that drinks Lone Star, so we steal his beer and dump it in the chum bucket. LOL you know how cats like stanky stuff. rotfl, when we told him our secret you should have seen the look on his face. cuzz we told him it was the stink in the brew they liked. LOL

Thank Chief!
