Took my 10 year old son, his 8 year old cousin and my father-in-law Saturday. We fished the bulkheads hard for the first 2.5 hours but couldn't get a bite. We switched to trolling about 9:30 and started hammering the Hybrids and white bass. We ended the day with 5 big hybrids and 40 white bass. Great day on the water and a memorable day for the kids spring break.

Thanks for the report! What were you using on the bulkheads? If the weather isnt to bad I may head out this weekend and hit the bulkheads.

The bulkhead bite is not on yet. There are some there, but I think they are pretty well there year round. We fished em for about an hour Sat morning and caught fish, but it was not bang/bang like usual and there were no concentrations of shad seen. I'd guess it's about two weeks away.
