I was there monday and saw a good number of boats out there. The water was really brown and around 50 degrees. We only caught a few whites and one catfish. One party got a ticket trying to catch shad on a restricted dam area. I wonder how much that cost. Is the water always brown there?

The East fork will muddy it up w/ any amount of rain for sure. Also theres a sand pit up the river and depending on activity, would do it too.
But the past years have shown once its time for the whites it dont matter what color it is.
