Spring Creek Monday

No work tomorrow (Monday 19th) going to the Spring Creek. Will wade and work my awy up to where the two creeks meet. Will post results Monday night, after the fish fry.

Wish I would have read your post sooner. Off today as well and wanted to wade spring creek, just not alone.

I am just curious Kapman and Rip some lip,do you wade the creek as you would a cove or shoreline in a bay where you cover alot of ground.Or do you just wade into the creek at a certain spot but never move to cover any more ground.I seen some folks just walk in knee deep and just stand and cast but never move to cover anymore ground...

I start out at the rear of the park, cross the creek and work the channel until I hit one then fish it. I move on up stream to the next bend and drop off. I see guys working one spot for hours, sometimes it is productive and sometimes not.. Today the fish were holding near the brush and high banks but not many were caught..

Thank you for your insight and strategy on fishing the creek..I hear that the creek is very shallow in places as well as deep on the bends.........
