Here are a couple of surface poppers Shannon and I made for our trip home to Galveston this July. The mullet popper is about 6" long and weighs in at 2oz.
The marbleized poppers are 3.5" and weigh about an ounce.
We cannot wait to get back and fish these. It has been 20 years since we returned to Texas and we are really looking forward to catching some specks and hopefully a few reds (Shannon never caught a redfish).
I must be crazy but when I was last there we used to fish queen and king bingo's in pink as well as grass colored shorty shrimps. I have been buying some off Ebay that I plan on fishing while there as well then retiring them to a shadow box after the trip.
Anyway, hope you guys like the plugs.
