Go to E2baits.com and see these new baits. Definately look at the bobtail lizard. It is designed to fish weighless and is great for flipping. I will be heading down to Lake Livingston this week to give the Bobtail lizards a try. I also like the lizards and worms fished on a light weight due to the buoyancy of the lizard and worms.
Hope this helps and thanks for looking....

While everyone is out fishing the Horny Toad, Ribbit, I like to go to the places they have fished and fish behind them with a Spro frog or a frog that will just float and has a weight on the tail end to keep the bottom of the frog in the water. Twitch it and work it back toward the boat and WHAM. Sometimes it can take 4 to 5 minutes to work the frog back but it usually catches some good fish.

I heard all kinds of story that the lake is dead with bass... ? Is this lake that bad for bass fishing? I have driven over the bridge and it looks like a great place to catch bass..

I will be heading to Lake Livingston tomorrow and Thursday. With all the new flooded vegetation it should be some prime fishing. I will post a report on how I do this week.
In the past there has been great bass fishing. It is well know for a catfish lake but you usually can always catch bass on the lake.
Hope this helps.....
