New wood

I went to the back yard today and found a old peice of hackaberry that had fallen off one of my trees. I cut it into small 8 inch peices. I played with some of just making sawdust. Then I got a ideal. This is the same peice that fell and broke my neighbors arm. I cut it into slabs about 3/4 inch thick. I then cut it into 3/4 inch square by 5 inchs long. I made a pen with it. I will post a picture of it in a few minutes as soon as my wife gets back with the car. The camera is in the car.

Now you need to go get you a laser engraver to put a picture of a broken arm on there for your neighbor. :D

Since you broke your neighbors arm with the wood, what are you going to do to him with the pen? Just kiddin, you are becomming a pen expert. Looks good.

afterthought...Bill, my teacher, had some nice wood he brought to demo on. Said he dropped by the Houston Arboretum and picked up all he wanted. Just a FYI for anyone near there...
