Went up to Lake Houston this morning just to see any damage from all of the rains....Boy, The boat ramps were trashed with debris. The water was dirty. I probably couldn't see 3 inches down if that.....I'm ready for the crappie to start spawning.....

You aint the only one ready for ther spawn. I don't think the clarity will matter as long as there is no current.

you guys are about threee weeks late. Crappie were hot ! Now you have to wait for all this trash to wash out from Conroe. Give it a week or so and get ready. ssssshhhhhhhhh!

Does anyone here know how to get to the dam by foot or wheels. Sorry, I don't own a boat. Thanks!

not any more. no foot entry. Not sense 9-11. You can get to the eddie to bank fish but it is limited! go all the way to the end of eisenhower park. bingo! Don't do get caught walking to the spillway or dam by foot. good luck
