View Full Version : Yamamoto Lures

Which of these lures do you all recomend? I remember last year throwing the large lizzards of a different brand and getting outfished by my partner who was throwing the Yamamoto worm that didn't look like much at all.
From his explanation, I remember him saying that the texture is more realistic, thus the bass keep it in their mouth longer allowing more time to realize you have a fish on and set the hook. What have you all's experience been and do you recomend them?

my father in law has been outcatching me almost 3 to 1 with the yamamoto senko , while i was throwing lizards or power worms , both of us have been fishing them weightless. since ive been using the senko ive caught a few more myself

nope been there too , ive found the best colors for me are black with blue flake and watermelon with red flake , bass will hit either one in either lake i usually fish. (rayburn and houston)

Where on Lake Houston have you had the most sucess. I usually go for Lucius Bayou

me too, there or east fork ,but have caught fish down by the docks on the main lake also
