Fished all day Thursday and half a day on Friday. Water temp was anwhere from 51 to 56 degrees that I was fishing. I fished all the way from Harvey Creek to the Deer Stand. Caught the majority of good size keepers on reddish orange crawfish 3/4 rattletrap while fishing outside edges of grass beds in 6 to 8 ft. of water in the mouths of drains and creek channel. The majority of the fish that was caught came when there was a bend / change in the drain or the creek.
Caught some fish on a black/blue and watermelon green jig with a small trailer in the mouths of main lake drains or creek channels with a point. Hope this helps. Some of the fish looked fat with eggs.
Have fun fishing.

Saturday will be a whole different ball game with the little weather change we are having. We are just going to fish and have fun. Hopefully everyone catches fish and has a good time.
Are you going to go up there and do any practicing early? Me and Jennifer will be heading up there Friday morning after work and will get on the water about 10AM.
Anyways be careful and we will see you Saturday.....

I wanted to get there as early as possible Friday morning but my wife has to work until lunch time. I will be waiting in the driveway for her with the engine running. I was hoping to get the boat in the water before it got dark. I have been having trouble with my Hydraulic trim. The solenoid switches inside the motor keep burning up and the thing will just start trimming up or down on its own. I need to put it in the shop. Getting klind of expensive always replacing the switches.
Anyway, we will be there by 4:00pm at the latest. I drive a white Chevy Avalanche and will be pulling a white and maroon 18 ft. Kenner center console.
Look forward to sipping a brew with ya.

Actually, I am at work. I just goof off a lot. If my company ever checks how much time I spend on the internet, I am screwed....
