MY FELLOW LOUNGE LIZARDS-
NT Reportin' for duty...with an apology or two,and an plea for a bit of understanding.First and foremost,I sincerely apologize to Katnip for the misinterpretation of his written comments...mea culpa,hoss...and to anyone else who was affected or hurt by my decision to chill out,last week.I truly was taken aback by the responses afterward....I am humbled by your show of support,not only for me,but for Katnip as well,and for the board and it's well-being....I have said before,and will say it again,I love you guys like a fat kid loves cake!
To expain last week(long story-short)....work issues x no sleep x mom fell/shattered hip x other family stuff x the bite changed up x an issue that I'm passionate about="time to take a walkabout,mate".Katnip...you're certainly right about the nonfishermen that litter the lake with gallon jugs at night and then party til whenever,then collect"the remains" the next afternoon.I,too,despise this deal and it's reflection on those of that roam the lakes at night in search of trophy fish,no matter the method.You certainly are welcome to join me and Hawk one night,next Spring....I'll bet you money I can change your mind!
No one needs to be hatin' on Katnip...and I'm glad you are posting here at the Catfish Lounge.You,JFO,Bottomline,and Willy(da Kerr Lake boyz)are great posters,CPR practitioners,and chasers of hogs.I salute you all...especially,Willy,who is living proof that if you ask,listen,learn,and then put the time in on the water...you too will recieve a blessing.For those that are unaware,William is the present state record holder for Bluecats in the state of Virginia(92.3...I believe)!!!
By now the Prozac has gotten in the system and I should be free from most emotional outbursts!:wink: Daggone,boys....ya'll do me proud...thanks for the show of affection and all.
